Please note that we have had a number of bogus callers reported by people in the village. The telephone calls refer to loft insulation (or similar energy efficiency measures). We think that the callers may be working on the back of (but not in conjunction with) the legitimate 'Warmer Homes Scheme' that Harborough District Council have been running alongside Harborough Energy.

Police Officers from Market Harborough are warning shoppers – particularly those of an older age – to remain vigilant following two separate reports of purse thefts in the town.
Both happened between 10.30am and 11.30am on Wednesday 11 August in St Mary's Place-the Square area. The victims were two elderly ladies. Both had kept their purse in their bag but later noticed they had been taken.... Read More »

Action Fraud has received over 700 reports from members of the public about fake emails purporting to be from the NHS. The emails claim to be able to provide people with a "digital passport" that "proves you have been vaccinated against COVID-19". These emails are fake, and the links within them lead to genuine-looking websites that steal your personal and financial information.
